$30K settlement for unpaid wages and employee misclassification

Attorney Sobczak was able to successfully obtain a thirty thousand dollars settlement for unpaid wages and employee misclassification for a domestic worker in Boston area.  The plaintiff/client provided live-in services for an elderly resident at a fixed monthly rate. When the resident’s health started to deteriorate, distant family members came to Boston area and took over his finances, failing to pay the plaintiff/client after taking over control of all finances until the resident’s death. After the resident’s passing, the distant family in addition to failing to pay the plaintiff/client is due wages, evicted him from the house, so it could be sold.
